In case you like singing and dancing, then painting walls could be the all inclusive therapy (for free). That was my entire last week’s task to accomplish, I offered to paint the walls of my work shop and the boutique myself, and at first I regretted it, because they workers could have done it in a third of the time I used, and I could have used my time more productively. Nevertheless, painting the walls and the ceiling :S ( I had never done that before) was pretty much fun!! And HARD work!
I ended up turning into a diva, a rock star and even the odd tacky singer from time to time during the whole process of painting, and although I didn’t get to look like one or even taste life in the fabulous line, gosh! I enjoyed singing like no one was listening and dancing like no one was watching… and yes eventually I did manage to finish the task early this week after following up with the professional inspection report. I had to do some minor amendments. But in general the walls are looking good! Sorry I am not showing pictures yet, as I want to wait until everything is finished.
I have to give credits and a huge thanks to my father in law, who was very kind to help me a couple of days, he witnessed the singing but I kept the dancing down those days!
I was so into painting walls, that I found the perfect excuse to execute a project that had been awaiting for a long time, the house front door!!! I had chosen the colour long time ago, Amsterdam Green! Here it is my before and after door!
If you can see some brush strokes, it is the wax, I haven’t buffed the door yet. They will go away after buffing.
